About
NAGALAND COLLECTIVE
Nagaland collective is a flagship program of
TaFMA Nagaland Elevating Nagaland's
entertainment stars.
Task Force for Music & Arts (TaFMA), which has
emerged from the long-lasting and well-established
Music Task Force (MTF), has been in action since
2019 with the aim of assisting Naga artists.
TaFMA considers art, whether in the form of
choirs, singer-songwriters, filmmakers, or others,
as one of the soft powers of the Naga People.
TaFMA is involved in all the arts, with a
particular focus on music, that go beyond the
major hubs of Dimapur and Kohima.
To date, TaFMA has participated in multiple
festivals, joining hands with partners ranging from
AR Rahman's K.M. Conservatory to collaborators
from South East Asia, Casio, and other countries
in the subcontinent. Although the Hornbill Music
Festival is Nagaland's crowning achievement,
TaFMA is growing its scope to encompass so
much more.
In the vibrant tapestry of Nagaland's music scene,
the inception of Nagaland Collective in 2022
marked a significant milestone.
Comprising esteemed faces such as Imcha Imchen,
Moko Koza, Akhrole Keyho, Koko Savino, KL
Pamei, Joshua Shohe, and Mezanuo Ngukha, their
collective synergy birthed the anthemic "Now or
Never." This debut release resonated with themes
of unity, youthful passion, and the relentless
pursuit of dreams. Imagined by TaFMA, mixed in
Dolby Atmos, and with fashion partner Parx added
an extra layer of allure to their debut, propelling
them into the limelight with a lasting impact.
